3X Web is a web design agency that designs, builds, supports, and improves custom websites for growing businesses and organizations. 

For the information covered by this policy, 3X Web is usually the controller or business. That means we decide why and how the information is used.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information we handle through:

“Personal information” and “personal data” both mean information that identifies you, relates to you, describes you, or can reasonably be connected with you.

One important distinction: websites we design and build for clients are governed by each client’s own privacy policy. Where we host or maintain a client’s site, we act as a service provider (processor) on their documented instructions, and this policy does not apply to end-user data we handle on their behalf.

Other websites and services

Our website may link to other websites, tools, or services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review those policies before giving those services personal information.

Information we collect

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, health data, or financial account credentials.

Payment Information

Payments are handled through payment-processing providers. We do not intend to receive or store your complete payment-card number, security code, or online banking credentials. We may receive limited transaction details, such as the payment status, billing name, billing address, card type, or final four digits. When we need access credentials for a client project, we will provide or agree on a more appropriate way to transfer them.

We use personal information for the following purposes:

We use contact, professional, and project information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, prepare website audits, and develop proposals you request.

To deliver our work

When you become a client, we use information to manage the project, communicate with your team, create and test deliverables, invoice you, provide support, and meet our contractual commitments.

To operate and protect our website

We use technical information to load pages, process forms, maintain availability, identify errors, prevent spam and fraud, investigate suspicious activity, and protect our systems and users.

To improve our website and services

We review analytics, feedback, and general usage patterns to understand which pages are helpful, where people encounter problems, and what we should improve. Where practical, we use aggregated or de-identified reporting for this work.

To communicate with you

We use your information to send the newsletter or marketing communications you requested. We may also send relevant one-to-one business communications where permitted by law. Client and service messages—such as project updates, security notices, invoices, and replies to your questions, are not marketing messages.

To manage our business

We use information for accounting, forecasting, internal administration, insurance, audits, vendor management, training, and professional advice.

To meet legal and safety obligations

We may use information to comply with tax, accounting, court, regulatory, or other legal obligations; establish or defend legal claims; enforce agreements; or protect the rights and safety of 3X Web, our clients, and others.

We may use ordinary automation for tasks such as spam filtering, scheduling, website security, and routing inquiries to the appropriate person.

3X Web is based in the United States. Our providers and clients may also operate in the United States and other countries.

This means information may be processed in a country whose privacy laws differ from those where you live.

When information protected by European, United Kingdom, or Swiss law is transferred internationally, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

We rely on a Data Privacy Framework only when the recipient is listed as participating in the relevant framework. We do not represent that 3X Web itself participates unless and until that status is confirmed and publicly listed.

The Data Privacy Framework program currently provides separate mechanisms for eligible transfers from the European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and participation requires self-certification.

How we protect data

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, least-privilege access controls, multi-factor authentication on internal systems, vendor security review, and a tested incident-response plan.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as required by law.

Your rights & choices

Wherever you live, we extend these rights to you:

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@3xweb.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we respond within 30 days. You will never face discrimination for exercising your rights.

California residents: the CCPA/CPRA gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA. You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf.

EEA & UK residents: you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority, though we would welcome the chance to resolve any concern directly first.

Children's privacy

Our services are for businesses, organizations and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will give prominent notice on our site or email you where appropriate. Earlier versions are available on request. This version is effective July 11, 2026.
